Summer Garden Party > (snug)* events
There’s something special about a relaxed garden party, which is exactly what the (snug)* events team achieved for our clients in Berkshire.
Armed with our brief for fresh summer food, simple décor and a laid-back feel, we dressed a beautiful sperry tent with elegant crates of succulents and soft pink roses, twinkly fairy lights and cosy hay bale lounge areas.
Sparkling summer drinks were served on arrival followed by a delicious seasonal menu, all topped off with decadent English puddings and a spectacular cheese table.
We injected some (snug)* sparkle into the evening and delighted guests with mind boggling magic, wooden boxes filled with curiosities and bespoke liquid nitrogen ice-cream, made to order in front of their eyes!
Our fabulous house band had everyone up on the dancefloor before our guests tried their hand at cocktail making in the quirky treehouse den.
As the evening drew in, contented guests snuggled into cosy lounge seating, stoking fire pits and toasting marshmallows, before making their way home along the festoon and lantern-lit pathway.
A Winter Wonderland > (snug)* events

Our client’s brief was to create a magical winter wonderland, so with snow shipped in from Belgium, beautiful twinkly lights and a fabulous festive menu, we created a party to remember for 150 guests.
Guests warmed themselves with spiced bellinis and egg nog martinis served by our mixologists before tucking in to a delicious bowl food menu. The favourites included skewered bourbon-glazed pork belly with crackling & a sour cream chive dip and skewers of chargrilled beef fillet with big chips and béarnaise sauce.
We used glass, mirrored furniture and winter flora to create an elegant dining area, along with lounge seating for those who wanted to chat and a dance area for those who wanted to party!
The cheese and dessert stations opened later in the evening and in between dancing, guests nibbled on fig pudding balls with a warm custard dip, cinnamon and damson doughnuts with a spiced caramel sauce and Baileys & mint chocolate cheesecake.
Fabulous face painter www.glitterbox.co.uk added some magical sparkle to the evening with intricate designs for the ladies and the men were introduced to the world of glitter beards!
For those with room to fill, guests dipped, sprinkled and stirred to create their own dream drinks at the hot chocolate station before wrapping up in blankets and heading onto the decking to toast chestnuts over the open fires.
Children’s Birthday Party for Jack Wilshere > (snug)* events
(snug)* events had so much fun organising the birthday party for Archie and Delilah, the children of England and Arsenal football star Jack Wilshere. The children enjoyed fabulous Bubblegum balloons, face painting, bubbles, craft tables, bouncy castle, ball pool and a surprise appearance from Elsa and Spiderman! The mini guests feasted on a delicious dairy and GF party menu and even had their own milkshake and smoothie station where they could top up whenever they pleased! The adults weren’t left out, and whilst the children had fun they enjoyed a tasty BBQ menu and even tried their hand at karaoke and Playstation. As the evening wore on, the adults relaxed in candlelit lounge areas and toasted marshmallows over the fire pit, whilst the worn-out younger party guests were carried home to
The Katie Piper Foundation > (snug)* events
(snug)* events proudly event managed The Katie Piper Foundation ball 2014, co-hosted by Simon Cowell and Katie Piper, and compared by Alex Jones. (snug)* pulled together all aspects of the event from venue, caterers, room decor, florists and entertainment and secured over £150k worth of auction prizes and goody bag donations. Hello! were the exclusive media partner and celebrity guests included Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B, Nick Knowles, Louis Walsh, Gethin Jones, Julia Bradbury, Jake Humphrey and much to the guests’ excitement, the X-Factor finalists! Guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner courtesy of The Ivy’s catering arm Urban Caprice, and our wonderful (snug)* team encouraged guests to dig deep, raising £120k on the night for a fabulous charity.
Glitzy Night Out > (snug)* events
We loved working on these two flagship fundraising events for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. Securing Shane Richie and Christopher Biggins as hosts, we wowed over 350 guests with Britain’s Got Talent dancers, internationally renowned magicians, casinos, top musicians and delicious food from Luton Hoo Hotel and Spa. The auction prizes we sourced included an all-expenses trip to Las Vegas, 2 weeks on a luxury yacht and plenty of designer handbags! Our celebrity contacts Matt Lucas, Stephen Merchant, Tamzin Outhwaite and Miranda Hart all donated generously, helping us raise much needed funds for a wonderful charity.
Robin’s 3Oth Birthday Party > (snug)* events
Robin asked us to organise a relaxed, informal 3Oth birthday celebration, so we created a rustic look with wood, zinc and moss as a central theme. We used two giant tipis for dining and dancing and created outdoor lounge areas for guests to sit back and relax. Our only remit was to include ice-cream and cocktails, so we combined this with Robin’s love of cars and hired a Landrover cocktail bar to serve guests bespoke cocktails. And the ice—cream sellers were a huge hit with children and adults alike. As the sun went down, we transformed the venue into a sea of twinkling lights with our hundreds of candles and tea lights, all captured by fabulous photographer brookphotography.co.uk. The band struck up, the fire pit was lit and the guests partied and chatted well into the night.
George’s Twinkle > (snug)* events & pr
(snug)* is proud to support George’s Twinkle (www.justgiving.com/George-Rodd), a charity set up in memory of a little boy who lost his life very suddenly and tragically to a brain tumour. When (snug)* pr was asked to run the PR campaign for Cbeebies’ star Andy Day’s national theatre tour, along with the show flyers, we sent out 35,OOO Brain Tumour charity symptom cards to schools across the UK. (snug)* events also organised a wonderful coffee and cake morning for 3OO women from George’s community, with support from both local and Great British Bake Off bakers. George’s family are working to raise awareness of brain tumour symptoms and (snug)* will continue to help whenever and however we can.
Butterfly Paintings > (snug)* pr
We’ve initiated and run countless celebrity fundraising and pr campaigns, one of which was the Chrysalis Collection for Keech Hospice. Using the butterfly, which is the national emblem for children’s hospices, we asked our celebrity contacts to paint, draw and sketch for the art exhibition and auction. We secured artwork from 5O celebrities including Aled Jones, Alesha Dixon, Claudia Winkleman, Fearne Cotton, Gaby Logan, Gail Porter, Gethin Jones, Gloria Hunniford, Holly Willoughby, Julian Clary, Alastair Stewart, Nick Knowles, Jake Humphrey, Justin Fletcher, Kara Tointon, Katherine Jenkins, Keith Chegwin, Kenny Logan, Kirsten O’Brien, Noddy Holder, Theo Walcott and Tony Blackburn. Sooty Sweep and Sue also managed to find the time to create their own special masterpiece!
